Greetings from Japan! Tokyo has it all: a ranging nightlife, delicious sushi bars, trandy karaoke joints and more vending machines than any city in the world (selling anything from cameras to toilet papaer)! What a great place to start the World Tour.

Mt. Fuji is one of the beautiful and symetrical mountains in the world. There's a saying around here that every Japanase sjould climb Mt. Fuji, but only a fool climbs it twice. Every year, more than 400,000 people attempt to reach the summit.

You will definitely remember Nara for its beautiful temples, shrines and pagodas. But even more, You'll remember the extremely outgoing deeer that freely wander the streets here. Considered sacred by the Shinte religion, these deer demand to be fed by all tourists!

Uwajima is not your typical tourist stop! Its famous Shrine of Fertility displays some sculptures sure to deter easily embarrassed tourists. If that wasnt interesting enough, the city also holds a "bull sume" event (bull fighting Japanese stylel) six times a year.

Cranes are symbol of longetivity in Japan. A story from Hiroshima depicts a young girl who tried to fold 1,000 paper cranes to save herself from radiation sickness. Her wish didnt come true, but her statue today is always surrounded by thousands of paper cranes.

Kyoto was the capital of Japan for more than 1,000 years. Because of his istoric value, it was the only major city in Japan to be spared in the air raides of World War II. If you want to see ancient temples, beautiful shrines and imperial places, this is the place to go.
